Compact board is a multilayer sheet material produced under high pressure and temperature by pressing several dozen layers of kraft paper. This modern-looking countertop material is distinguished by its resistance to moisture and steam, high durability, and resistance to load and wear. IMPORTANT! Compact HPL is covered with a real metal sheet, so the surface is more sensitive to mechanical damage. According to EN 438-2-25 standard, surface resistance to scratches is 2N. One side of Compact HPL has aluminum 6010 decor, the other – steel 6050.
