Privacy policy

2. What data we process and why
Contacting us
The website has no contact forms. If you contact us by email or phone (for example with the “Request a price by email” button), we process the information you provide – name, company, email, phone number and the content of your message – to answer your question, prepare an offer or conclude a deal. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). We keep the data as long as needed to handle the request and, if a deal is concluded, for the period required by law.
Technical data
When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically logs technical information (IP address, browser type, time and requested page) to keep the website running and secure. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept for a short period under the hosting provider’s terms and are not used to identify you.
Visitor statistics (only with your consent)
If you choose “Accept” in the cookie notice, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are loaded to collect statistics about how the website is used (pages visited, device type, approximate location based on IP address). Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you choose “Reject”, analytics is not loaded. You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the website footer.
3. Cookies and browser storage
The website itself does not use cookies. No analytics or advertising cookies are stored on your device without your consent.

When you withdraw consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
4. Third-party content
YouTube videos are loaded only after you press the play button, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The “Open in maps” link opens Google Maps on an external website governed by Google’s privacy policy.
5. Recipients
We only share data with service providers that help run the website and our communication: our hosting provider (Hostinger), our email service provider and – if you have given consent – Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics). Google may transfer data to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell data or use it for automated decision-making.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, request rectification or erasure, restrict or object to processing, request data portability and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@trukme.lv. If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (www.dvi.gov.lv).

We may update this privacy policy. The current version is always available on this page.
